Top 5 Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Slovakia Q4 2021

During the fourth quarter of 2021, the performance of carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Slovakia showcased some interesting trends. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the download and active user metrics for the top 5 apps: Bolt: Request a Ride, Uber - Request a ride, BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus, Zoberma, and Careem – rides, food & more.

Bolt: Request a Ride saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.2K in the first week of October and dropping to approximately 756 by the end of December. Despite this, the app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, fluctuating between 40K and 44K throughout the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced moderate weekly download numbers, beginning the quarter with 297 downloads and ending with 319. The app's active user base hovered between 16K and 18K, showing only minor fluctuations over the three months.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus had a smaller user base compared to Bolt and Uber. Weekly downloads started at 354 and declined to 217 by the end of December. Active users ranged from 993 to 1.3K, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter.

Zoberma, a relatively new entrant, showed a notable drop in downloads, from 416 in late September to just 17 by the end of December. Unfortunately, no data on active users was available for this app.

Finally, Careem – rides, food & more maintained a low but stable download rate, with numbers increasing from 73 to 158 over the quarter. Active user numbers showed a gradual increase, starting at 183 and peaking at 290 in the last week of December.
